Any participant younger than 16 years old at the time of their local seminar can attend a seminar and become certified at
a Level 2 for a cost of $20. This program is to encourage younge people to get involved with officiating.
1) Web seminars to be held one a month from November to August and twice a month from September to October.
2) For officials in areas with a small concentration of AAU and USARS sanctioned events
3) Primarily for In House officials and grade school to middle officials
4) The web seminar will be a four hour training seminar with web interaction and short quizzes
5) Open book test passing grade is 30 out of 50
6) Cost for Level 1 is $30 plus AAU Non-Athlete Insurance ($14)
1) Seminars will be scheduled in AIHL cities and areas with Scholastic High School Programs
2) For programs and leagues that want better traning for their officials
3) Primarily for Scholastic (Varsity and Junior Varsity) programs and for officials looking to officiate AAU Regional events
4) This seminar will be scheduled for a time frame of a minimum of five hours and to a maximum of seven hours
5) There is an on floor portion to this seminar that is one to two hours long
6) Open book passing grade is 40 out of 50
7) Cost of Level 2 is $40 plus AAU Non-Athlete Insurance ($14)
1) Seminars will be conducted in conjunctionwith the Level 2 seminar
2) Primarily for officials looking to officiate Varsity at the Scholastic High School leve, AIHL games and National AAU and USARS inline hockey events.
3) This seminar will be scheduled for a time frame of a minimum of five hours and to a maximum of seven hours
4) There is an on floor portion to this seminar that is one to two hours long
5) The closed book portion of this seminar will be conducted at the conclusion of the on floor session
6) Closed book passing grade is 35 out of 50
7) Cost of Level 3 is $50 pluss AAU Non-Athlete Insurance ($14)
1) Seminar will be conducted once every two years
2) To attend this seminar the official must be a level 3 official
3) Requires the purchase of a USARS Officials membership
4) Official will receive and International B Officiating card making them eligible to work lower level international events
